San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel de Allende is best experienced when there is next to zero downpours. January falls outside of the wet season, with daytime highs drifting in the mid-70s (however you’ll need to bring a coat for the evening).

While here, don’t pass up the great Cañada de la Virgen archeological site, or a lackadaisical walk around El Jardin Plaza, ideally with a charango close by (a sweet and zesty natural product drink).
